Day 4 (3304) Jared Naude (140)

Now for my favorite talk of the event, the Infrastructure Review.

Organizing an event like this is no small feat—it takes immense effort from planning to clean-up. Let's hear from the various teams that made this event possible.

Some oddities that happened:
1) Broken Schuko connector that was due to a lose screw
2) PPPoE Adapter? POE with 3 Phases 😂
3) Cables stuck down to the floor. POC can provide power mats that are cleaner / safer.
4) Co-operation with NOC for DMR. NOC couldn't get the door open so had to get in from the back side of the rack.

One of the main problems this year was that the number of talks increase and the break time is decreasing. This was solved by using a new distribution tool. The audience was able to tune in via the new audio portal.
