So many African developers have to work so much harder than those of us in Europe and the US.

At #DjangoConAfrica I'm learning first hand about connectivity issues and frequent power cuts; and I'm hearing about people having to begin programming with pen and paper because their computer availability was limited.

These developers have to work so much harder than I ever have, and yet they're so positive and driven. Huge respect.

Well done to the social managers of DjangoCon Africa for the total coverage of the conference here on the Fediverse. πŸ‘

Sharing images and information live during a conference is a demanding job and I know it well. πŸ˜…

For those like me who were unable to participate in this first DjangoCon Africa in person, it is wonderful to be able to follow everything that happens in Zanzibar. 🌍

Have a good conference. πŸ€—
