So many African developers have to work so much harder than those of us in Europe and the US.
At #DjangoConAfrica I'm learning first hand about connectivity issues and frequent power cuts; and I'm hearing about people having to begin programming with pen and paper because their computer availability was limited.
These developers have to work so much harder than I ever have, and yet they're so positive and driven. Huge respect.
It's time to start the last day of the @djangoconafrica πΉπΏποΈ Many thanks to all companies and organizations that are on this wall ππ𧱠#django #djangoconafrica #python

Well done to the social managers of DjangoCon Africa for the total coverage of the conference here on the Fediverse. π
Sharing images and information live during a conference is a demanding job and I know it well. π
For those like me who were unable to participate in this first DjangoCon Africa in person, it is wonderful to be able to follow everything that happens in Zanzibar. π
Have a good conference. π€
Time to go homeπ I'm honored to have been the small part of the 1st ever DjangoCon Africa @djangoconafrica πΉπΏποΈπ Thanks to all organizers and attendees, you're the bestπ I have lots of new friendsπ€π€ #djangoconafrica #django #python #africa
