I was really looking forward to this year's #djangoCon, but life had other plans. I ended up in the ICU this past weekend, after walking around for a week or so with a pulmonary embolism(!)

I'm recovering slowly but well. I don't miss programming at the moment, but I sure miss all the people I've met through programming, especially in the Django world.

Braved the thunderstorm for an early morning run before #DjangoCon and I’m so glad I did. I know it’s weird as heck but I miss this weather, it’s so much fun.

Wow. @pythonbynight ‘s #DjangoCon keynote was so powerful. Probably the most creative tech talk I’ve ever seen. Philosophy, insight, compassion, wisdom, and humor.

I’m honesty still processing. And this is coming from me, decidedly not a developer, at a talk titled “How to be a Developer”!
