DjangoCon US 2024

Day 3: Talks (33)

I say this every year at @djangocon: MAJOR respect for our presenters where English is a secondary language. Presenting is terrifying enough, doing it in a secondary language is simply AMAZING.

I was really looking forward to this year's , but life had other plans. I ended up in the ICU this past weekend, after walking around for a week or so with a pulmonary embolism(!)

I'm recovering slowly but well. I don't miss programming at the moment, but I sure miss all the people I've met through programming, especially in the Django world.

Happy conferencing everyone, and I'll see you next year!
