So far it looks like I did make it through #EuroPython without getting a blind passenger on board. No COVID symptoms and negative self tests. Let's hope it stays this way 🤞

After accidentally DDOSing piwheels for years with every @octoprint update*, today I was able to apologize to @bennuttall in person at #EuroPython! Great success! 😄

* It turns out that when you push out a new release of your software and as a consequence thousands of Raspberry Pis out there pull in new dependencies, at a certain project size the traffic will cause mysterious spikes in piwheels' logs that take a while to figure out the cause for 🤪

Spent the first half of the evening at the #EuroPython social event inside and the other half outside. The big spike in the red in the second half was from a short run inside.

Conclusion: The air inside could definitely have been better 😅

Today at the #EuroPython venue the hallway air got a bit bad around the afternoon, the rooms were once more fine.

I also have my Aranet with me at the venue of the Social Event, it will be interesting to see what the #CO2 concentration says there... Right now it's sitting at 553ppm.

Good morning #EuroPython! The sleep was good, the self test was negative, the breakfast was delicious, now @timothy and I are ready for day two of talks and chats!

The FOMO is strong, but I still decided on a chill night in.

Need to recharge the social batteries - I love meeting so many wonderful people at #EuroPython and enjoy all the interesting talks and chats, but I also know my limits, and I still have two conference days and one social event tomorrow night to go on what were already severely depleted energy levels 😅

@timothy for one is happy about some calm time together ^^

Kudos to the #EuroPython venue, the CO2 levels measured by my Aranet so far today have been green 👍

Still, the mask stays on.

Well, my #EuroPython already started, I met some fellow Pythonistas at the gate ^^

Packing for #EuroPython more or less done.

Phew... Ngl, I'm a bit nervous about my first flight since 2019 coming up tomorrow, and attending a conference *in person* for the first time since then as well.

Ok, the decision has been made... I'll be at #EuroPython @europython for the first time!

Really looking forward to it! Will be my third visit to Prague too ^^

* yes, I know, but I haven't been airborne since 2019 and it's the only way I can make the schedule work here...
