With hardly a week until 2025, I couldn't be more excited to announce that my talk "Your Very First Contribution to Open Source" has been accepted - literally last minute!

I can't wait to meet old and new friends, and to help one, two, or many people to dip their toes into the wonderful world of open source!

Or as @hynek phrases it... "i respect your quest in ruining innocent lives!"

See you in the beautiful city of Prague!

Many thanks to Canonical who made this possible for me.

Lesson learned... Don't grab a coffee when @hynek gives a talk. The room is full up to the last seat!

Looks like I will enjoy "Design Pressure" when I am back home.

I am super happy that I have met Miguel in person for the very first time. I had been reading his books and blog posts many, many years ago, and I learned so much.

Thank you!

Also thanks to the many volunteers at who make this a wonderful and memorable event.

Just wrapped up my talk about removing barriers to contribute to open source at .

The response after the talk was overwhelming. Looks like my calendar is booked for the next few days to help people with their first contribution.

Thanks for the wonderful audience, thanks for for having me, and thanks to my employer @ubuntu for making this possible.

The second day of starts with the much anticipated keynote from @brettcannon about "Why it took 4 years to get a lock files specification".

The first minutes of the presentation already show that the self-proclaimed tall, snarky Canadian also has a great sense of humor.

Thanks for coming to Europe to share your experience!
