It turns out that @timothy is a huge fan of Murderbot 🤭 We watched the first four episodes before I had to leave for #EuroPython and now that I'm back he has insisted that we finish the show this weekend.
A successful #EuroPython sprint - 25 challenge coins awarded, 30 issues resolved (with a couple more in the review queue still to come), and 3 major investigations completed - including one that has the potential to resolve a long standing Briefcase issue. A huge Thank You to the EuroPython 2025 organizers, and to everyone who came along to the BeeWare sprints.
I don’t think PyCon France 🇫🇷 was mentioned at #EuroPython? It’s in 3 months, it’s ✨ free ✨, it’s in Lyon (great food), very reachable by train or bike, or plane. Did I mention it’s free? https://www.pycon.fr/2025/en/ Run by @AFPy
OH AND… the CFP closes this evening! It’s bilingual English - French
New form set up during the #EuroPython sprints – share any quotes or testimonials we could reuse in Django marketing 💚 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfkkvFZnLi_Mg_DnMwMC8g3V5ke2RnA4y4yXiTyaBU-zPFJ8w/viewform?usp=dialog
We got so many people coming by our booth just to say thank you / share how much they appreciate #Django and the community, wanted to try and capture some of this so we can make use of it in our work
Just wrap up EuroPython 2025 with sprint, handshakes and hugs. One of the best Python conferences I’ve ever attended. Saw lots of old friends and made some new friends. Really had a fantastic time here. Safe travels back home everyone and see you in the next Python conferences (would be even better if it’s PyCon Taiwan hahahaha)
