Where you can run your Eurovision (virtual) party, voting by your followers and peers, celebrating your favourites of the official #ESC final in your community. I really hope the @EUCommission sees how we, the communities of practice are building solutions like #Forgejo, #codeberg, #mastodon mostly out of the #EU, with developers located in the EU, building solutions for the world, respecting privacy and sustainability the Open Source Way because we care. I’ve been talking about this for some years now. And I am very happy to see that more and more people share similar thoughts and there now is a dedicated devroom at #FOSDEM for this. I am NOT involved in that, BTW. And that’s just the way I like it! Ideas are bigger than people, so I am looking forward to learn from far more involved people about all the other things I can’t even imagine that are defining in this field! See you in Brussels! 5/5

Gut feeling: #FOSDEM will be very political this time. Emergency devrooms to save democracy and fundamental human rights?

I tried to secure a ticket for #FOSDEM after I lost in the #38C3 lottery and had to find out that FOSDEM has no lottery or price for a ticket. You just show up and are welcomed in Brussels ;)
