I’m at the Brussels airport waiting for my flight home from FOSDEM. it’s been great, but being stuck in the Rust devroom all day was a bit weird. I missed so much I wanted to see, but everything was so far away and at the same time as talks I wanted to see.
That’s it for me this Fosdem, I’m going to miss the last talk in the Rust devroom. I need to start heading to the airport.
We’re ready for the next talk in the Rust devroom at FOSDEM. It’s about Random Seeds and State Machines: an approach to deterministic simulation testing in Rust.
The room practically emptied after the coreutils talk. Now it’s time for a talk on Rethinking Network Services: Freedom and Modularity With Rama.
The talk on Rust Coreutils in Ubuntu talk seems to be popular, the Rust devroom is almost filled to capacity.
In the FOSDEM Rust devroom there is now a talk about Taming Git complexity with Rust and Gitoxide.
Another talk in the Rust devroom, Rust in Mercurial.
This talk in the Rust devroom at Fosdem is about Ty: Adventures of type-checking Python using Rust.
I had to skip a talk at the Rust devroom to get some lunch, but I made it back in time for the talk on Building performance-critical Python tools with Rust.
The next talk in the Rust devroom here at Fosdem is Rust in ClickHouse on how to avoid a full rewrite.
