I was worried about finding the recordings for a minute or two, but I understand they'll be posted to access.fed50.com at some point #fwd50
Actually, and more disturbingly, what if governments advertised like all these private healthcare providers that have been trying to get my business lately...
Not pleased by them, by the way. Seem to be the answer to the question, "what if I paid taxes, but only for things that benefit me directly" but I also don't begrudge anyone who can't get service from the existing public system.
I bet more people would file taxes if they advertised the benefits like credit card companies.... #fwd50
I honestly had never heard the complicated/complex split - complex systems can't be fully known in the way that complicated systems can.
I have to actually work today so I'll be listening to #fwd50 but not posting as much ;)
I'm excited for this one - Open Science and Indigenous Knowledge
Ohh, good answer Daphnée Nostrome. You always trust not that things will change if you do the work, but things won't change if you don't do the work.....
I need to watch a recording to catch up but that 58% stat about who can log into MSCA accounts is wild.
I was surprised at the Terry Beech talk. Very good.
Somebody tell him to join the Fediverse ;)
So, I'm not sure if this is a #FWD50 post or not, but I'll flag it. It's not entirely unrelated.
For reasons within myself I don't quite understand, I keep looking at premium credit cards. They're so shiny!
What gets me isn't the rewards as much as the insurance and perks. I would be part of clique that supports me and, if anything goes wrong, they've got my back*. Scammed, we'll get your money back. Trip is delayed, we'll cover hotels. Rent a car, we'll back up your insurance.
