My first laracon experience (a few years ago): I had to buy food outside the event because the rows in front of the food trucks were so long that you had to wait an hour to get a tiny plate of something.

So, that´s what you get for hundreds of dollars. Think twice before you spend too much money for an event full of fanboys.
