Bis 1997 arbeitete er als freiberuflicher Musiker. Danach absolvierte er eine Umschulung zum Informationstechnologen bei Siemens-Nixdorf in München und arbeitete als freiberuflicher Informationstechnologe. Heute lebt er im bayerischen Oberland als Schriftsteller und Musikproduzent.
