North Bay Python 2024

Christopher Neugebauer (53)

Now that is over, why not attend and support a regional conference?

PyCon US sold out this year, and it will probably continue to do so. Smaller, regional events are going to be a more important part of how we support the growth of our community, but we need your support -- attendance and sponsorship -- to fulfil that role.

I run @NorthBayPython (), but there's plenty of others in the US, including fellow @ThePSF events @pycascades and @pyohio off the top of my head.

This is the community I experienced in a state of change just as I joined, that I remained honoured to be a part of, and am humbled to continue to keep serving on the board of @ThePSF and through , steering , and many more.

IMPORTANT: @whitecoatcaptioning are all humans, and we have loved working with them for all 5 North Bays Python. Hire them!

Because it's part of the discourse: it's possible to have a data-driven public health policy that gives space for people who need masks and filtered air (social.coop/@NorthBayPython@so). We're doing that at , and I'm happy to share lessons we learned this year and last.

Went out to the ranch with @josh today to finalise the contract for next year. Their business manager is so demanding (of scritches).
