@jriou @posetteconf thanks for the +1 Julien! We had some discussion about whether it was worth sharing the process and the metrics, so it's good to know you appreciated it!

Happy 😁 to share the news that all of the talk selection decisions for @posetteconf (free & virtual developer event, now in its 3rd year) were emailed out last week, as promised ✅

📝 🔬 In the interest of transparency, we thought we would share a bit about the process the POSETTE talk selection team used to create the roster of talks for

The team & I have so much gratitude for all the ppl who submitted so many 🤯 amazing talk proposals to the CFP for POSETTE

Lots of talk selection work to do this week, but first I'll pause to say thank you 🙏 to everyone in the world who (1) made time to contribute their talk proposals & (2) to spread the word to their friends 👋

I'm so happy

My feed is full of posts about talks, but before fades into memory, here are slides from my talk in Vancouver about blogging.

🙏 to @pgconfdev organizers for the opportunity. What an INCREDIBLE event, I had so much fun. I am not exaggerating in my use of ALLCAPS.

Also, yes, my talk was recorded, video coming soon! 📽️

Advice by @kelseyhightower:

>My advice for small tech conferences: fewer tracks & more shared experiences. It's hard to resist scheduling multiple tracks, esp. when majority of speakers are paying to speak. Too many tracks dilutes audience & doesn't set speakers up for success."

I will ask Teresa Giacomini & @asw of @posetteconf about it in Ep16 LIVE recording on Wed 6/19 @ 10am PDT, on The Making of An Event for
