Did not expect collective action songs in this keynote but it definitely makes sense and is completely appropriate

TIL from @sethmlarson about “Trusted Publishers” — partnerships with builders like GitHub, Gitlab to not need an API key to publish packages. What a cool idea.

Tools like SECURITY.md in a GitHub repo help projects that are trying to make “clean beaches” for sections of the ecosystem.

It’s so important to make it clear, as a maintainer, that you’re willing to accept help, and how

Wheels down in Austin.

Onward to Pittsburgh from here!

Stopwatch reads 5h18m (following the tradition of @freakboy3742 and @mariatta)

The cuckoo clock that @mariatta is talking about is so freaking cool. Go see it at the Capital One booth if you haven’t seen it.

Also made by a local artist!

Incredible reveal from @brainwane — swear jar for talks

@freakboy3742 I spent like this whole weekend doing research into places close to the conf that have likely or confirmed outdoor (thanks to @MaggieFero who will also be at )

It looks like The Standard (maps.app.goo.gl/am6QnTSP6txtQn) has a parklet, and so I bet we'll spend a lot of time there.

Also Level 7 (maps.app.goo.gl/aWK5zxitRup2GV) is close and might have a patio.

I'm probably going to be camped at one of those for a nightcap each night, and would love to join you (and anyone else who wants to not be stuck indoors but have a beer, feel free to boost) once I get into town ✨

@sethmlarson refactoring docs and tests out of the release candidate builder and into their own builders removed _660_ dependencies from the python builder. Holy crap, that’s amazing.
