I enjoyed the diversity and inclusion panel at PyCon, and I especially appreciated the call for support at the end for the various groups they represented.

Loved the Software Testing Alignment Chart shown by Liz Acosta today at #PyConUS #PyConUS2024
"They weren't paying attention until we broke their ability to make money on something we provided for free." @brainwane at #PyConUS
Very interesting to hear how much Hatch from #PyPA has changed over the years. It looks like it's slated to become the app release tool to replace them all, taking on the responsibilities of Twine, Virtualenv, SetupTools, etc. All with a flexible plugin system for future extensibility.
"It was a Friday, because it always is." @sethmlarson at the #PyConUS "Meet our Security Engineers" when talking about the recent XZ Utils attack.
Just a reminder that we're running a rock, paper, scissors competition in Room 310/311 today at 11am! It's open to anyone and everyone and it's usually a pretty fun time.

As an #OpenStreetMap contributor, #Wikipedia reader, and #Python #OpenSource maintainer I loved the keynote by Kate Chapman at #PyConUS which found a fantastic way to connect all of that in a talk around community, technology, and goats.
I love the idea of "slop" becoming the "spam" equivalent for LLM output. #PyConUS
