- spike in new registrations (10%) so close to the conference that we had to lock it down
(I thought we'd be done breaking records at this point)
- # of toots using official hashtag during the conference @fedidevs (each day we broke our own record from the day before)

I declare the "Oh baby" ice cream flavor from Millie's Homemade as the official #PyConUS ice cream flavor.
Crumbled tender slices of frosted birthday cake and lots of rainbow sprinkles into a UPMC-purple vanilla ice cream.

My own personal records broken during PyCon US 2024:
- speaking my native language to 5 other people at a technical conference (last record was 2 at PyCon US 2023)
- selfie with most number of people 🤪
- making 4 "releases" in a single weekend 😜

The highlights of #PyConUS for me was the neurodivergent open space. I'd encourage anyone to do something similar at a conference that has open spaces: If you haven't found your people, but know they are there, reserve an open space for a bit for them to meet. They probably want to meet you as much as you want to meet them!
Will check out the sprints hopefully later today but now I'm going to Waffle House with my family. Don't judge me.
