Yesterday I met the mother of an autistic trans woman who is a recent computer science graduate here in Pittsburgh. Daughter is looking for a job and would love to get in touch digitally with some people at #PyConUS who could provide support.
I mentioned @pyladies as one resource, but it would be great to put her directly in touch with some local and/or currently-in-town Pythonistas that she could relate to.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I can put people in touch.
Cory Doctorow ( @pluralistic ) is giving the first keynote at #PyConUS tomorrow morning. But tonight, he has a stop on his book tour here in Pittsburgh! It's at 7PM ET at White Whale Books, which is just a few miles from the convention center.

FYI, the main hashtag for PyCon US 2025 is #PyConUS. It's promoted by the conference and has about 4x the posts of #PyCon.
There are definitely interesting and relevant posts that are only on #PyCon.
It would be great to have everyone on one hashtag. You'll also get more engagement! 😄
