Always love seeing the Pac-Man Rule spreading around the Python community. It was in the opening intro at #PyconUS!

Cory:
"They don't compete with rivals, they buy them. It's a quote from Mark Zuckerberg who puts all of his dumbest ideas in writing"
"Musk-addled libertarians whose copy of Atlas Shrugged no longer opens because the pages are stuck together"
LOL
Really feeling for Amanda from @whitecoatcaptioning, our wonderful captioner, who has to type out all of these variations of "enshit-" in the middle of this breathless talk from @pluralistic. AMAZING JOB.
Glad to see @pluralistic on stage in a mask at #PyConUS. I do appreciate seeing important people encouraging good practices.
And now @pluralistic is encouraging tech workers to unionize! Hallelujah!
To all those saying @pluralistic's keynote is going to cause facebook et al to pull out of sponsoring #pyconus:
1. I doubt zuck gives a 💩if he even hears about it
2. Cory wasn't dunking on these corps without reason - he has receipts
But most importantly: if they decide to go nuclear, it says a lot more about them than us. I'm proud that keynote speakers like Cory and Margaret Mitchell from 2023 are able to get up and speak without being told to "bend the knee".
We need it now more than ever.
Side trip to the symphony! So excited to hear Beethoven’s 5th piano concerto!
