The Official Python Documentary has published their teaser trailer at PyCon US 2025, and I'm so honored to be part of the story of Python along with other prominent Python figures.

It's quite something to see a journalist who cut their teeth in Lawrence pre-Django talking about eventually learning to code, and then building out journalism tooling in Django. It's amazing seeing how much good has come out of one reasonably small newspaper. #PyConUS
Wouldn't Django be a little nicer to work with if it had a `deploy` command?
django-simple-deploy does exactly that; it's a plugin-based library that automates initial deployments to a variety of platforms.
