Pablo giving a fantastic keynote en Espaรฑol and pulling no punches about what "AI" costs Open Source. Now *this* is a keynote.
As much fun as #PyConUS has been, being off a bike that long in nice weather was a bit disorienting!
The Long Beach bikeshare is a very interesting one. All electronics are on the bike (and solar!), and there is a U-lock and integrated holster. Racks are just dumb metal and for a $2 you can lock to anything. $1 credit if you return a bike to the official rack.
First time using a Sturmey-Archer with a twist shifter but it worked well. Interestingly, it still has the dead zone between 2 and 3, I'd thought that was fixed in modern hubs? Not really a problem though.
Brake levers are inverted which was interesting but worked well. Very enjoyable ride

Has anybody done a printer-friendly schedule for #PyConUS this year? A web search did not turn up anything.
(yes, I am aware the schedule is subject to change. I will deal with this using the advanced technology of "a pen", if it comes up)
Steno to steno challenge at the #PyConUS lightning talks. WOO for the captioners, thank you all!
