Are social networks dead for conferences?
I’ve just been to PyCon Italia and here on Mastodon there have been an average of 2,4 post/day. I counted only 5-6 different people (out of 1000 attendees).
I also checked Bluesky and Instagram.
What am I missing?
This morning I had the pleasure and the honour to introduce my dear friend and former colleague Nicholas Tollervey keynote (which was so much fun and inspiring 🤩)
Supertab, the company I work for, is hiring another senior backend developer.
The position is fully remote. If you are at Pycon Italia, ping me for a chat! https://laterpay.jobs.personio.de/job/2087426?language=en

If you are attending @pycon (and you already have a ticket!) you should definitely start voting the talks which have been submitted https://mastodon.social/@pycon@social.python.it/113826993007064971
There are 447 to vote (probably only 1/4 will be selected) and which ones will be at the conference depend on you 👈
