One thing I always appreciate about PyCon Italia is that part of the schedule is in Italian, making the conference accessible to people who may not be comfortable following talks in English 🇮🇹🐍
This morning I’m attending Juna Salviati’s talk, “L’essenziale è invisibile agli occhi (ma non a Python)”, an introduction to steganography and the art of hiding messages in plain sight. Very interesting topic and a great example of how broad the Python ecosystem can be ✨
Just like every year, one of the best parts of PyCon Italia was meeting so many people from the community 🐍✨
Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, shared a story, an idea, or simply a few minutes together.

Tonight was the PyCon Italia 2026 social dinner 🍝🍷🐍
A lovely opportunity to share good Italian food, meet new people around the table, catch up with old friends, and enjoy conversations that rarely fit between talks and conference sessions.
Sometimes the best part of a conference is simply sitting down together and talking for a few hours ✨
This afternoon @pycon 2026 came to an end with the closing session 🎤🐍
As a very tired but very happy staff team, we thanked all the participants, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this edition possible.
And before leaving the stage, we already set the next appointment: PyCon Italia 2027, back in Bologna from June 2 to June 5 ✨

This afternoon, after the closing keynote of the second day of PyCon Italia 2026, many of us gathered by the hotel pool for a group photo, a drink, and a chance to relax together ☀️🏊🍹
After a full day of talks and conversations, it was nice to slow down for a moment and enjoy a few more chats with friends old and new before the evening events ✨

One of the nice things about the social dinner was also getting up from the table to say hello to people at other tables and meet even more members of the community 🍝🍷🙂
We also witnessed Andrew attempting to order a cappuccino at 11 PM, with the predictable reaction from the bar staff 😄☕
And after dinner, many of us moved to the hotel bar to keep the evening going a little longer with another drink and a few more conversations ✨
