As announced at @rubykaigi today, I've been working on a new HTML-Aware ERB Parser that I just released today.
Introducing Herb — a fast, modern, and HTML-aware ERB parser, designed from the ground up for smarter developer tooling.

#RubyKaigi is an emotional rollercoaster for me. A talk struggles to solve issues already fixed by JRuby. A sponsor tells me they already use JRuby. Another believed JRuby is dead and abandoned it. An attendee runs JRuby at massive scale. Another never heard of it. 😀😭😮😕🤔
It's a beautiful day in Matsuyama for #RubyKaigi day one! Looking forward to talking shop with #rubyfriends from all over the world and teaching a new generation of Rubyists what JRuby has to offer!

It's still too sad that sponsor booths in #rubykaigi are all "please follow us/share your result on X" ...
To be fair, nothing would make people move out of X unless the official accounts _also_ move out of X.
Giving my talk at #RubyKaigi today on my newest SQLite project—Plume. Plume will be a suite of tools for working with SQlite elegantly, and the first major tool is a parser that is 100% compatible with SQLite source. Excited to share more today!
