For programming, I use Rust, C++/JUCE, and C; I made my IndieWeb-style website with 11ty; and I like using Neovim

I also like fountain pens, analog photography, and I'm getting into TTRPGs

My mission is to develop a deep understanding of how our world works — economically, politically, historically — and write to make it common knowledge.

I enjoy programming, rowing & bicycling. I am at my best when helping someone get something done or work through a problem. Just an old geek. Learned about computers on a CARDIAC (CARDboard Illustrative Aid to Computation). Then the math teacher at HS got an old Navy surplus computer with drum memory. It had a high speed optical paper tape reader. From there it was BASIC, Cobol, FORTRAN, CMS-2Y, Jovial, Ada. Did some Java and C but never got that good. In retirement learning Rust.
