Java/Python/... - full snack developer - like to know what's behind and driving a thing

My spare time I spent on (alphabetical order)
- coding (mainly Python and Java, others on need)
- cooking, baking and patisserie
- cycling
- ESP32, Raspberry and other SBC's
- security (to the extend not to feel entirely unsafe ;-) )
- SciFi (books and movies)
- anything else which catch my interest

note: Don't expect me to be THE guru in one of them. Not that I don't want to be, but spare time is limited.

Happily mangling data and containers at Cisco, they don't pay me enough to talk for them. I'm also doing the network at FOSDEM for a few years already.

Mostly using Golang/Python in development and ML. Of course using Linux, also a infosec and general networking guy, used to do a lot more Common Lisp and Debian.

I spent a decade as a web developer, systems integration hack, and network management systems engineer coding in: Perl, python, Java, javascript and CSS. I then spent a decade in healthcare tech working with IT infrastructure. I love software-defined networking and storage, and promote infrastructure-as-code. I stand on a tiny soapbox pushing an agenda of patching, network segmentation, and Active Directory segmentation in vulnerable environments. I'm also a business analytics geek.
