@[email protected]In July 2020, I started feeling constant, acute pain and was later diagnosed with #fibromyalgia. I've been in pain 24/7 since it started.
#photography is a passion of mine. I'm an amateur, but I can't stop shooting pictures.
I'll be tooting in pt-PT and en-US/en-GB.
I have an alter ego at @brunomiguel, where I post mostly in pt-PT

It's not for fun, or any sense of community.
It's just trying to dull the pain.
I have friends everywhere.

@[email protected]I am Director of System Architecture at SCI Semiconductor and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory. I remain actively involved in the #CHERI project, where I led the early language / compiler strand of the research, and am the maintainer of the #CHERIoT Platform.
I was on the FreeBSD Core Team for two terms, have been an LLVM developer since 2008, am the author of the GNUstep Objective-C runtime (libobjc2 and associated clang support), and am responsible for libcxxrt and the BSD-licensed device tree compiler.
Opinions expressed by me are not necessarily opinions. In all probability they are random ramblings and should be ignored. Failure to ignore may result in severe boredom and / or confusion. Shake well before opening. Keep refrigerated.
Warning: May contain greater than the recommended daily allowance of sarcasm.

I am a hobbyist security researcher, filterlist maintainer, and wannabe law nerd. I help maintain the Actually Legitimate URL Shortener Tool. This account is mostly just my personal soapbox. Moreover, almost all my serious posts are about content filtering.
I am not an expert; do not take anything I toot as truth. Retoot/like != agreement.

Profile picture: truncated screenshot of a WINE error message. The error message is titled "Download failed". The message reads "Download Failed: Success. Check your connection and click 'Retry' to try downloading the files again, or click 'Next' to continue installing anyway." There is only one button labeled "OK".
Header image: A Windows error message against the default Windows wallpaper. The error message reads "Windows cannot find iam-py-test. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

I’m an engineer currently writing and shipping production Rust for an anti-ransomware company.
I drink a LOT of tea, and read a lot of Sci-fi. I used to have many many hobbies including metal working, wood working, circuit design, 3d printing, you name it, but these days my most prominent hobby is anxiety.
I’m an American *and* an anti-fascist.

@[email protected]Go to [email protected] for anything non-tech or political, including infrastructure, solar & selling power, roads, transit, cycling … even maps, even really geeky maps with Wikipedia 'bahnstrecke' diagrams
This will be my forum for IT security and reliability, high tech and high science … but also retro tech, old Apple stuff … no really old … no, older than that. It's helpful for each audience to have these accounts separated.

@[email protected]I do stuff, I have opinions. These are not necessarily my employers opinions. I think I'm funny.
I, like Mark Twain, believe that "Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer."
I also believe that "Profanity is the crutch of the inarticulate motherfucker."
