Packing for #EuroPython more or less done.
Phew... Ngl, I'm a bit nervous about my first flight since 2019 coming up tomorrow, and attending a conference *in person* for the first time since then as well.
#EuroPython friends staying at the Holiday Inn… whyyyyyyyy!?
We arrived in Prague yesterday (My first flight ever! And I spent it in the bag! But Gina says she couldn't secure us a window seat and the flight was this very boring) and I took a nap at the hotel while Gina was off checking out a cocktail bar with friends (she tells me her non alcoholic cocktails were not listed on the menu but fantastic).
Today we are off together to the first day of #EuroPython, and I've already taken a look at the venue from our hotel room ^^
The FOMO is strong, but I still decided on a chill night in.
Need to recharge the social batteries - I love meeting so many wonderful people at #EuroPython and enjoy all the interesting talks and chats, but I also know my limits, and I still have two conference days and one social event tomorrow night to go on what were already severely depleted energy levels 😅

Esta semana tive a oportunidade e o privilégio de participar da #EuroPython 2024, e ainda apresentar Lightning Talk. Deu pra conhecer, encontrar e reencontrar uma galera bem massa, bem como saber mais sobre diversas empresas que usam Python no velho mundo. Fico muito feliz em mais uma vez perceber e confirmar que aonde tem comunidade Python tem gente acolhedora e parceira.
This week I had the opportunity and privilege to participate in #EuroPython 2024, and also present Lightning Talk. It was possible to meet and reconnect with a lot of great people, as well as find out more about different companies that use Python in the old world. I am very happy to once again realize and confirm that wherever there is a Python community there are welcoming and partnering people.
