After #EuroPython is before #WHY2025 and I just secured my DECT number the other day. Who of you will I be able to meet there? :)
🌍✨ EuroPython has just ended.
One issue came up again and again during community organisers open space: it’s harder to find sponsors.
Now that AI is taking the spotlight, I’m asking: Who is being left behind?
That’s what this blog post is about:

Together with my travel buddy @timothy I'm now also on my way to @europython in Prague! For now some waiting at the gate is in order...
It turns out that @timothy is a huge fan of Murderbot 🤭 We watched the first four episodes before I had to leave for #EuroPython and now that I'm back he has insisted that we finish the show this weekend.
Home from EuroPython in prague. Amazing people, and so fantastic to see so so many friends again, as well as making new ones.
Given me the motivation to continue the great work I'm doing, and take on some new challenges.
Most important thing I've learned you ask? Never go so long as I have again (1.5 years) without a python conference.
Yay, Gina hat uns wieder einen Fensterplatz gesichert! Dann kann ich mir wieder die Wolkenschäfchen aus der Nähe angucken auf dem Flug nach Prag zur #EuroPython 🥰
So after hearing why ORMs aren't great from @hynek I'm now going to hear why they are from @veldakiara :) #EuroPython2025
There’s gonna be an open space on Python and complex applications tomorrow at 10am in room 223+224:
“Is Python suitable for writing maintanable (complex) software?”
I’ll try to be there & as far as I am concerned, Betteridge's Law of Headlines doesn’t apply! #EuroPython
Yay, I got my own badge now thanks to the awesome volunteers at #EuroPython! And as I was on the podium with Gina I even got a Speaker sticker 😊
I've just had to stop myself from shouting "LET'S GET RID OF NONE IN PYTHON" in the Core Python Panel session at #EuroPython 😬
