I was honestly not much of a theater kid *as* a kid myself, but I am proud to have contributed to the Theater Kid Energy of #NBPy, which I am starting to understand is the most Theater Kid Energy of any tech conference I have ever been to https://social.northbaypython.org/@NorthBayPython/112706972358801482
Seems like a thing an ai captioner would say, @whitecoatcaptioning #NBPY
@NorthBayPython @chrisjrn I'm not a Python developer (Swift/iOS), but I think I'd like to attend next year. I mean, why not? I'm already here! And I like cats. ππ
We have a Python developer on our team, so maybe I'll see if he wants to come out next year too. ππ»
It was fun reading the posts and watching the conference vicariously! ππ
You can now watch the talk on "The Perfect Python Project" that I gave on Saturday at North Bay Python on YouTube. Please share and enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcfERM6fcgU
In May I arrived in Pittsburgh, PA to attend my fist ever #PyConUS. Now, 7 weeks later, on the other side of the country I am on a train south bound from Petaluma after attending my first ever @NorthBayPython
Later tonight I will leave the United States to return home to New Zealand.
I am delighted I will get to see a few of you again shortly at @kiwipycon in August in Wellington and for everyone else I hope to run into you again at another Python conference in another part of the world sometime soon.
Thank you to everyone who has made this trip truly special and thanks for making this a great community to be a part of β₯οΈ
Should I drive or fly to #NBPy? π€
π Driving pros:
- cheaper
- own schedule
- lots of zen time
- no airport/plane COVID risk
- no airport security
- can overpack to heartβs content
βοΈ Flying pros:
- faster
- Katie keeps car for emergencies
- no wear and tear on car
- forced to pack wisely
Can't believe we're about to go another year with someone not buying a fancy armchair ticket at #NBPy https://pretix.northbaypython.org/nbpy/nbpy-2024/
