Anyone have a deck of 52 cards I could have at #PyConUS tomorrow? 🃏
Just gave my card deck to @mathsppblog who's leaving tomorrow and will hopefully spread Cabo to other conferences. Glad it's found a new home but also will want another deck either tomorrow or Monday night.
Is there anyone at #PyConUS with a background in seismology?
I'm wondering if it's possible to recognize landslides from seismic data. If so, it would help identify exactly when some landslides in our community happened.
Had a very relaxing night playing Cabo and knucklebones with friends. Much needed after another full conference day. #PyConUS
The “one more thing” at #PyConUS is a well-considered, realistic, totally backwards compatible plan to remove the GIL!
@tonybaloney showing off a Flask app running in Hypercorn by @pgjones with workers in subinterpreters that themselves each have the GIL disabled. Running parallel requests that themselves can have parallel processing. This talk has so much insight into web app and parallel performance. #PyConUS #Flask #Python
I learned Python with _import cgi_, sad to see it go 😓
Sprints - is it necessary / possible to update registration info to indicate I'll be coming ?
