Honestly it makes sense why there was a lot of frustration about masking at #PyConUS — the world really has decided to move on. I’m still glad we wore masks and allowed friends like @bitprophet, @brainwane, and others to join us. #covidisnotover #covid

Yet another “why have I only heard the one song” selection today.
We've still got a few Lost and Found items in the #PyConUS staff room 306/307! If an item belongs to you, please come collect it by 3pm today or 2:30pm tomorrow.
After that, we will turn the items over to the convention center who will hold them for 30 days before donating them to charity.
Now that #PyConUS is over, why not attend and support a regional #Python conference?
PyCon US sold out this year, and it will probably continue to do so. Smaller, regional events are going to be a more important part of how we support the growth of our community, but we need your support -- attendance and sponsorship -- to fulfil that role.
I run @NorthBayPython (#NBPy), but there's plenty of others in the US, including fellow @ThePSF events @pycascades and @pyohio off the top of my head.
I love #PyConUS but wow does this venue put miles on your shoes
Thanks to everyone who came to the Beautiful Soup anniversary celebration at #PyConUS. I loved hearing all the stories of people getting into Python or programming through Beautiful Soup, using it for projects big and small.
Also see #PyConUS mask policies.
(many caveats apply, especially once you take into account hearing disabilities and language barriers)

Had a blast at #PyConUS! Spoke about distributed tracing for Python apps with #OpenTelemetry in the “Charlas” track. Also gave a lightning talk on why metrics and logs aren’t enough. Loved sharing knowledge and making people laugh!

Another “why haven’t I ever listened to the whole album” pick. This one goes out to all my #PyConUS friends.
