#PyConUS “main events” have concluded, and I am beyond grateful to once again have gotten the opportunity to help make the event happen.
I met a goal this year of seeing all of my reports speak. I also got to *enjoy* my days in the moment so much this year, not just be satisfied and proud of the work.
Thank you Maria Ashna, and thank you @Monorepo, yall being on the team has created so much capacity for great things, and your efforts this year onsite were a game changer for me.
This has to be a record: 45 minutes from start of the sprint to the first challenge coin! Congratulations to Amit for fixing a glaring typo in a README! #PyConUS
So the first result of #PyConUS sprints is that the long-running PR https://github.com/python-attrs/attrs/pull/1349 was finally merged and attrs now uses a fully locked dev environment with uv 🎉.
PyCon was lots of fun! The slides for my talk on processing large JSON files without running out of memory:

Looking forward to videos getting posted so I can watch all the talks I ended up missing due to scheduling conflicts/practicing my talk/getting lost/meeting someone in the hallway.
We'll have a full recap blog post out soon, but we wanted to take a moment to celebrate a fantastic #PyConUS! We all had a great time. Thank you so much #PyConUS2025 organizers! And a special thank you to our friends @django, who shared their booth space and collaborated on meetups with us. We were a powerful team of advocates for Python web dev! 🙌

Feeling gratitude for so much around #PyConUS as I make my way home. 💖🐍
Thanks to @pycon staff, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and all others who make this event what it is. 🤗
I met and re-met SO many folks. Thank you for the great conversations. I'm already looking forward to the next time we meet in-person. 💜
Last social part of #PyConUS for me! At the Pirates game with @elthenerd @davidism @adamenglander and Jean!
My first #PyconUS was super fun. I loved how many mini conferences were wrapped inside of it (like EduSummit and FlaskCon), the friendliness of everyone, and how easy is it was to find people to geek out over the same things I care about.
Kudos to the organizers for their great work, and to everyone who came and brought their friendly curious selves!
