I 3D printed some #Python logo keychain charms to give away at #PyConUS!
Most of them will be at the local community booth 726 in the Expo Hall, where @pybeach, @socalpython, San Diego Python, and Inland Empire Python Users Group will be hanging out, but I’ll also have some on me throughout the conference.
Come say hi to whomever is at the booth to grab yours, or say hi to me wherever you see me. 😁
Today is gonna be a shitshow of “travel” prep—since I’m local but expect to be gone for the entire day five times—with litter, laundry, last-minute errands, etc, but the excitement for #pyconus is really starting to hit. Seeing people’s (actual) travel posts is making it feel real. It’ll be my first time back since 2019.
And yes, I expect to be masking indoors at all times with my FloMask. I’ll even try and remember to bring some [K]N95s to give out to anyone interested.

With #pyconus nearly upon us, why does my brain think now is a good time to update my OS, risking breaking things and needing to start fresh, with all the little sharp edges that entails?
Why, I ask?!
Aw shucks, they did it again: there are just too dang many appealing talks. I favorited 30, with tons of overlap. And that doesn’t include the keynotes, lightning talks, open spaces, hallway track, or food track. 😂 #pyconus
Finally looking at the #pyconus schedule to mark some favorites, and wow, the program looks super promising! Much excite! 
Tempted to put something like “I didn’t know what to write here so I wrote this.” on my #pyconus badge…
