Always love seeing the Pacman rule at the intro. If you want to read more, see my blog post from 9 (!) years ago.

Is there a way to have Apple's Reminders be timezone independent? I have reminders to do thinfs that need to be done at 9AM every few days. It doesn't matter if I'm home, in London, or in Tokyo, I need that reminder to go off at 9AM or it is not useful to me. I'm getting reminders now 3 hours earlier than I should because I'm in CA for and that's how timezones work but not how reminders do. I need to check my glucose based on time where I am, not where I set the reminder.

RE: mastodon.brown-silva.social/@k

The Fireworks keynote at was not a keynote. It was a product pitch. And they are not sponsors. Not a good look for Fireworks. Totally tone-deaf.

@BajoranEngineer giving an admirable explanation of spoons theory and how it actually looks in the workday of a human developer, before talking about how that intersects with our environments

I'm not sure if I'm trying to talk myself into or out of a Jujutsu lightning talk.

Did anyone take a photo of Deb Nicholson pineapple pizza slide? 🍍🍕

As an Italian, I was too shocked to react quickly enough and capture it myself 😭

A 5K fun run with fellow Python people! Saturday, 7am, meet outside the Hyatt Regency. We'll head down the beach to a nice park, then turn around and be back in time for breakfast and the keynote.
