Pablo giving a fantastic keynote en Español and pulling no punches about what "AI" costs Open Source. Now *this* is a keynote.

Wake up, babe—new dinner plans just dropped. #PyConUS
The fire under my behind to get a Trusted Publishing setup for something not GitHub/gitlab based continues to grow.
We must remove every barrier to getting off github.
Currently following Pablo Galindo’s keynote at PyCon US 2026 🎤
It’s the first keynote in Spanish at PyCon US, and even as an Italian speaker I’m able to follow most of it surprisingly well 🙂
Pablo is giving a keynote that is both very interesting and genuinely funny, while talking about the life of open source maintainers and the changing world around them.

It's hard to express how great Pablo's keynote was. One for the ages (to over-extend his metaphor). #PyConUS
This was perhaps the most surreal #PyConUS I have attended (my 10th). On one hand, there was an entire track devoted to "AI". While at the same time, multiple talks (including the excellent lightning talk by @ehmatthes) dealt with trying to find ways to cope with the utter chaos visited upon open-source projects by "AI" bots opening pull requests. 1/4
