The feature updates for are thinning out now. We'll have to wait till next week for anything really good.

Control Tower will provide prescriptive backup plans. More of this please.
Control Tower needs more opinionated policies. Landing Zone Accelerator kinda provides prescriptive configs, but it's a half backed solution that very few customers use. aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats

I think this is the first time I’ve seen Apple on stage at an AWS keynote, and especially as a customer; that was a closely guarded but broadly known secret for quite a while

I didn't understand pride until this year. Pride as a feeling never made sense to me. But I get it now.

I am *so* proud of my team's work!

FIVE people from my team are speaking at AWS Reinvent this year! Among other challenges, they wrestled with hard problems around right-sizing permissions, self-service cloud resource management, and resilient automated migrations into hundreds of accounts at a time — all for live, production systems, as the one and only Netflix team responsible for cloud security

This team is so, so stunningly phenomenal 🥰

I watched most of the Peter DeSantis Monday evening keynote and didn’t see any sustainability discussion. It seemed like an awkward mix of too geeky for most people but with little real technical meat for people who are interested in how works.

I won't comment on all the updates overnight. Most of them are pretty boring and niche. Also there's the disposable AI junk that is mandatory these days.

These are probably the most interesting:
