Django On The Med ๐Ÿ–๏ธ 2025

@paulox and I are putting together some Django Development Sprints. We're going to do them twice a year, in Pescara, Italy, and Palafrugell, Spain. Autumn and Spring. First one in October ๐Ÿคž

Three days to get together and work on Django.

We're going with the working title, Django on the Med ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

If that's something you might be interested in, we have a newsletter (Thanks @buttondown โค๏ธ)

Django 6.1 will support database-level delete options for related fields ๐Ÿš€ The database variants are much more efficient because they avoid fetching related objects โšก This is a great win for Django on the Med ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Let's dance ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ
