What Static Site Generator are you using these days?

I'm serious considering leaving the Hugo ecosystem because upgrading things is just awful.

I'm most interested in single binary replacements (Go or Rust preferably).

@avery Guess what I just got working (fully cross-compiled from Linux!) 👀

MPV fails at the playback step (the actual MPV build works though, I can download & play the files through it) with `Assertion failed: !queue->in_progress, file ../mpv-0.38.0/misc/dispatch.c, line 276` but other than that everything seems to work!

I am really thinking, "What comes after static site generators?"
After looking at alternatives recently, I'm very tempted to create the simplest route to go from a markdown file to a fully styled web page. I'm getting tired of upgrades breaking my sites (mainly chrisshort.net which is where I try to write but feel like I need to fix things constantly).

Idea: A new web-platform, especially tailored to the needs of travelling with a #camper, to document, share, and plan trips with diaries, photos, GPS tracking, and more! Also to discover and review trips, connect with fellow travelers, and to find personalized travel inspiration. How does that reasonate with you?
