Opened HN for the first time in a while: top page, some article about MIT no longer requiring DEI statements for faculty. Yikes. Comments are as toxic as you'd expect from that site. Don't know why I even bothered opening the app.
W.r.t MIT, I hope this isn't the start of some kind of trend.
Got some dialog workinggg! Now we're finally moving towards less coding and more writing, which I guess is kinda always my favourite part of thinking about game dev, but I usually get side-tracked with technical stuff....
Still got a bunch of coding to do though, need an enemy AI and cutscenes, but this is progress!!!

@jarkko looks like WFI allows for spurious wakeups, if the code handles WFI==NOP, then it'll also work correctly for spurious wake-ups. A hypervisor may also trap WFI and switch to another guest.
