OpenAI, Mircosoft, and Google together kill the open web. Thousands of independent blogs and forums are now nowhere in search engines or pushed back to page two to support their AI and partnerships with Reddit, StackOverflow, and more. Many humans contributed to these sites hoping to build a knowledge base for humanity, but now greedy people like Sama and OpenAI are taking over everything.

I have very mixed opinions on LLMs, as they stand. This note won’t be digging into my thoughts there - I don’t want to have that discussion. However, while I’m not exactly doing cutting-edge research here, I do put effort into publishing for humans.

But once again: if you build your business on top of anything offered by Google in virtually any way, you are in "fool me seventeen times" territory here. No company has indicated its disdain for the developer ecosystem to the degree Google systematically does.
Everything that doesn't pull the revenue of Ads is eventually killed, and nothing pulls the revenue of Ads.
